Miriam Richter, MSW, LLMSW

Miriam Richter (she/her) endeavors to create a shared therapeutic space of empowerment, self-compassion, and authenticity to collaboratively discover patterns and beliefs. “At times there are moments in our lives where we realize that something needs to change, and finding a place to start can be overwhelming. . . .What if you didn’t have to journey alone?” Miriam believes that every mental health journey -- whether we have been walking for a while or just beginning -- is an exploration of the self. “By holding a space for authenticity and curiosity, I hope to work with you to explore the diversity of experiences that make you unique.” Miriam combines creativity with strengths-based and attachment-informed approaches to meet your specific needs and goals. She has experience providing neurodivergent and kink-affirming care and is also interested in working with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) . “My hope is that you can come to see yourself clearly and compassionately enough to make choices that are aligned with your values and that lead to a more authentic and fulfilling life.” Miriam has a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan.
